1. A general price rise will take effect on 1 July 2026 - from US$3 to US$5 per user per month, except where an enterprise agreement is already in place. 2. Existing customers and new customers can lock in the current price for 24 months, if they agree to pay for existing member numbers 24 months in advance, by mid-June. An unlimited number of users can also be added to the subscription during this 24 month period at the current rate (US$3) payable monthly for the remainder of the lock-in period. After the 2 year lock-in period, the monthly price will be subject to the prevailing rate at that time (TBD).3. Customers who don't take up the offer will be invoiced at US$5 per user per month from their first invoice after 1 July 2026 onwards.

Is the $3 price really the final price – or just the starting point for negotiation?

It's the final price. Unlike most platforms that price high expecting discounts, Knowby prices honestly from the start. $3 per user per month is what you pay – the same for a 10-person team or a 10,000-person enterprise. No volume negotiation required. After July 1, Knowby's price will increase to $5 per user per month.

Are there any additional fees for AI, SSO, or other features?

No. Knowby offers flat-rate pricing with no extra charges for Al features, SSO storage, compliance tools, media assets, or support.

Knowby's pricing model is truly all-inclusive-what you see ($3 USD per user/month) is what you get. Knowby's price will increase to $5 USD per user/month from July 1, 2026).

Is there a minimum number of users?

No. You can start with a single user. Competitors like Dozuki require a minimum of 50 users, and Trainual requires 25 seats just to get started. Knowby has no minimum.

Are there different tiers or locked features?

No. One price, every feature, every team size. No tiers, no upgrade prompts, no "contact us to unlock". If it's in the features list, you have it.

What happens after the free trial ends?

Once your 30-day free trial is over, we will invite you to add your payment details and you will receive access to the Knowby instructions platform for $3 per user, per month. If your free trial ends before the June 15, 2026 cut off to lock in the $3 per user price, before the price increase, please contact us by submitting an expression of interest form on this page.

What are Public knowbys and how are they priced?

Public knowbys are instructions you share openly – anyone with the link can view them without a Knowby account. They're priced at 2 cents per view, so you only pay when someone actually looks at them. There's no monthly commitment for public knowbys. Private knowbys (internal team instructions) are $3 per user per month.

Does Knowby offer discounts for educational or nonprofit institutions?

Yes, as part of its goal to establish effective knowledge sharing, Knowby also prioritises offering the platform free of charge to not-for-profit organisations working on meaningful projects.

Why is the price so low – what's the catch?

There isn't one. We run lean, we've automated heavily, and we don't have a large sales organisation. We didn't build Knowby to price high and discount – we built it to be affordable from the start. Read the full story here.
